Building A Wedding Website

Creating a wedding website has become a popular way to communicate information to guests and provide a central location where people can stay up-to-date on your big day.
Wedding websites can serve both a personal purpose and as a helpful tool for your guests. You can include a blog, registry information, photos, accommodation ideas, directions and more - and it's paperless so it's a great way to be 'green' in your wedding planning! Plus, if you're having a destination wedding, a website is almost essential.
Important things to include:

·         Links to local hotels (especially if you have rooms reserved at specific places)
·         Airport and Flight information
·         Area Attractions
·         Transportation to and from Airports, Ceremony/Reception
·         Directions
·         Itinerary - important times and places to be
You can also incorporate other pages or tools such as RSVP forms, a guestbook, music requests, and information for bridesmaids and groomsmen.
Don't stress about designing anything, because many of the sites offer website templates you can use to make the process easier. They will also have pages already designed in several different themes in order to match your wedding style.
When it comes to content, each design should come with recommended page topics to guide you. Just remember to keep it as clean and uncluttered as possible - please make font and colors readable! And lastly, have fun with it! Make it something you're excited about and don't forget to include a link to it when you send out save- the-dates!
